You can host A2J Guided Interviews created in version 5.0 by following these README instructions and using the attached files.
This is not for authoring A2J Guided Interviews, but just for hosting the A2J Guided Interviews on your own server.
A2J Author and HotDocs handle repeat loops differently. A2J Author has 1 digit explicit indexing for variables, which means that A2J Author only allows 1 counting variable at a time. HotDocs has 2 digit indexing, so it allows for a counting variable within a counting variable.
No. A2J Author 5.0 will only support IE 11 or higher. That means A2J Guided Interviews created in A2J Author 5.0 will work in IE 11, Edge, and the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
We understand there are some organizations that have older computers, but the security issues raised with IE 10 and lower, combined with the fact that Microsoft is no longer supporting IE 10 or lower, have led us to this decision.
Version 4.1.5 is the last updated version of A2J Author 4.0. It was created in 2015 to fix issues that authors were having after th LHI rebuild. It is a minimal install and assumes that A2J Author 4.0 is already installed on the author's machine. It does not include the system files that are traditionally in a full A2J Author executable file.
A2J Author 5.0 is more strict in its scripting than A2J Author 4.0 was. Therefore, things that worked in 4.0 will need to be revised in order to run properly in 5.0. Below are some sample error messages and how to resolve the errors. The error message will be italicized here. The error will be emboldened.

1. Download and open EditPadlite http://www.editpadlite.com/download.html (free text editor)
2. Open your 4.0 Guided Interview in the editor.
Yes. All variables now need brackets around them when you use them within logic or in a macro.
